The journey to finding a job in Norway will differ based on your own circumstances. As a refugee under collective protection you have the right to work in Norway. To date, it is unknown whether other types of work permits will be issued to Ukrainians.
The introduction programme is a training programme intended to prepare you for participation in Norwegian working life. All refugees between 18 and 55 years of age who arrive in Norway shall participate in the introduction programme.
Children aged 12 months and up to school age (6) have the right to a place in kindergarten (barnehage).
Refugee children have the right to a school offer as soon as possible. They have a duty to go to school when they have lived in Norway for three months (from age 6-15).
